Just a quick update. The weather has been absolutely crappy.... May was all rain and the sunshine we did get was measured in hours...... sad eh? June so far hasn't any better but I have started to complete the mechanical portion of the boat, stay tuned, a new video will be posted soon.

Videos' on Project Green Marine

I've finally recorded and posted 3 videos explaining the project, and how I've gotten to where I am now. Once the weather gets a little warmer, I'll be outside working on the boat and recording my progress to share with everyone.

Hi all, once i get my camcorder fixed, i'm hoping to compile a few videos (picture slide show) and whats been done so far and hope to record the remaining work on video to share on youtube, including the test trials. Spring is getting closer and I hope to be out working & finishing the boat so I can enjoy it this year.

Where has the time gone?

Last year was a bust on this project. So many things came up every time I had some free time, and the good weather flew by before I knew it. I'm still working on the boat. I've decided to go with universal joints to change the direction of the chain. The Angle grinders are still a good idea, however I don't have a machine shop, nor do I wish to spend more money to have the parts machined than what it would cost me to buy a right angle gear box.

I'm hoping to craft the propellers over the winter and now that I have a video camera, I may shoot some video as well and post it on youtube.
